Its production began in 1988, and this particular one was built in 1989, in a total of 5,877 vehicles LHD, series 1, with European specification.

This version has a 3.6 liter, 24 valve inline 6 cylinder BMW Motorsport powerplant with 315 cv and a manual 5 speed gearbox.

Car was purchased new in Spain in 1989 and maintained by its original owner, a Portuguese entrepreneur, until 2015, which ended up legalizing the car in Portugal in the year 1996.

The car has 130,000 km, BMW maintenance records and certified miles.
