This “classic” saab (original chassis pre General Motors acquisition) had 16 years of continuous evolution between 1978 and 1994 (in the convertible version from 1986 to 1994), being endowed with a set of unique characteristics of SAAB engineering, such as the positioning of the engine installed backwards with the power delivered from the crank at the front of the car and the gearbox bolted to the bottom of the engine with a transaxle transmission , associated with a unique body, known for its structural rigidity, with the absence of the stoop in the cabin, also facilitating access to the interior of the vehicle for its passengers. Living up to the brand's aircraft legacy, it has a deeply curved windshield and a dashboard that is completely driver-oriented. In these times, Saab conducted technology-driven design philosophy.
Our car is a LPT (low pressure turbo) sold from 1991 to 1993 exclusively for the European market, being an intermediate performance version with its 144 hp.
It was a first delivered Portuguese car, matching numbers and colors, with 2 previous owners and was completely mechanically overhauled, new original soft and tyres, body and interiors detailing. In short, it is a very distinct and elegant car ready to be enjoyed.
